Dr. Marcus Lewis is the founder and owner of Key Change Consulting, LLC, and a leadership strategist, speaker, and higher education administrator. With over a decade of experience, he partners with organizations to strengthen leadership, enhance organizational culture, and help teams navigate complex challenges in a rapidly changing world.

Dr. Lewis currently serves in academic leadership, where he leads faculty, develops programs, and drives initiatives focused on student success, organizational effectiveness, and innovation. His work spans higher education, PK-12 systems, government, and nonprofit organizations, where he is known for helping leaders build high-trust environments, improve collaboration, and align teams around shared goals.

As a practitioner-scholar, Dr. Lewis maintains an active research agenda focused on inclusive leadership, organizational culture, and access for historically underserved populations. He has mentored numerous doctoral students, served on dissertation committees, and chaired dissertations, supporting the next generation of leaders and scholars.

Dr. Lewis is a Black Ho-Chunk man. His lived experiences and professional background inform his approach to leadership, culture, and organizational change, particularly in helping organizations build environments where people feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.

He has delivered presentations and facilitated workshops at the national, state, and local levels, working with diverse audiences to develop leaders, strengthen teams, and drive meaningful organizational outcomes.

Outside of his professional work, Dr. Lewis enjoys spending time with his family, making, listening to film scores, and is an avid Star Trek fan. He resides in beautiful Northeast Wisconsin with his family.
